    Ink bottle? Is there a trace of blue or black residue on the inside??

    The mount on the top is only about 3 millimeters. I think it is dirt on the inside of the bottle.

    okay thanks, but is not the hole on the top of the bottle too small to be a Ink bottle?

    At first I also thought ink or gum bottle but with that small opening then perhaps it is the base of a small lamp/night light with a screw in wick.
