German Goggles

G'day i picked up these unusual field made goggles, i was going to add them to a helmet to display but there too small as the strap is not elastic. The tag reads M31 gasmask can anyone confirm or deny this? the only markings are the 4 and the 1

These do look very cool mate, they don't look like usual material for a WW2 German mask though (at least not to my knowledge).. Interested to hear what others have to say!

Hey Josh, I know what ya mean I've got one and it's all rubber! and doesn't look anything like these, these look more like WW1 or a foreign capture or something
