German pistol holster (P35, P38)?
Some time ago I found this holster in surplus with pile of different Polish holsters for TT33 pistols (ranging from 40’s till 70’s, army, navy, air force…). This one drew my attention as absolutely different and not Polish post war origin.
Definitively, details indicate German origin, quite similar in shape to P35 holsters, however it is not P35 holster (e.g. different shape under the flap, one belt loop instead of two…) Unfortunately, I could not find any much more clear information. One of experts (author of book concerning German pistols and holsters) confirmed that it is German late war ersatz holster for P38. Do you have any idea about this item?
Here you can find photos showing comparison with the Polish Army TT33 holster made in 1953. It seems that refered holster could be "liberated" in 1945, used in Polish Army as being suitable for guns type TT33 and finally released with other surplus by the Polish Agency of the Military Property.
