Default German Staff car pennant. Is it tropical?

I bought this from a Guy's son, who served in North Africa (the dad not the son). He told me his dad took it off of a staff vehicle. My question is: Is this item tropical. Thanks for any and all help, it's definitely appreciated.

looks like those 1970's "creations" - fake imo
Looking for following WWII German items:
    - anything dealing with Allenstein (Olsztyn) and Wehrkreis I in East Prussia,
    - entrenching tool carrier (straight and folding),
    - forestry and hunting items,

Does not black light at all. Has nice usage (mothing and staining). The guy seemed pretty reputable. I have had several people look at it and they say it's good.

UV light and damage/wear are not the only things to look for - here is another pennant Time Traveler - WW2 German Army Generals Car Pennant
Also the pattern you have is common to those on ioffer.com, which is full of fakes.
Probably better photos of the adler would help.
Also some experts will surely let you know 100%
