german used italian pattern shelter half.

recently i purchased a German used Italian camo shelter half /poncho there are no dates however theres a repare in german zetban added to a small section in one of the corners of this poncho. the italian markings or pattern are still visibal but i cant find the exact colors anywhere on it as i have seen on the post war italian shelter halfs. with the splinter camo repare i can only think the german who used this poncho had a real like for this item. Is this a tradition with some of these ponchos has anyone else ever seen one with a repair from a german splinter opattern shelter half.
