The ammo pouches produced earlier in the war often had the actual name and city of the manufacturer on them. By 1942, the names were being dropped in favor of the Rb number system. Reichsbetriebnummern were instituted to obscure the location of the factories making war time items. I agree with JPhillip - with late war items it is not unusual to see no markings at all on similar items. NH
