Original nice condition. Cannot say about the jager mark. timothy

Thanks for the advice! The Jager marking is actually the surname of the soldier and not referring to rank, I know this because the strap is also marked this way, with a bit more info (just forgot to post it) To me the name and rank inscriptions seem period ---

Any idea on a decent price for this one? It's up for sale at $139 (just hoping it's still there)---

Thanks you, harryamb! I'm about to get it but was wondering about the price ($139)? Sound ok?

hmmm pretty pricey if you ask me, especially since the straps of the can are missing....

Is the can also numbered ?? (like the mask itself ?)

I have to admit I didn't notice the missing strap... and I will ask the seller about the numbers -- are you referring to the markings on the filter and that they should match the can markings in some way?

No, what I mean is, is the can also marked with Jäger or 650.... in that case the set is matching, and more worth (imho)

otherwise it is a "put together" set and not worth that much....

Thank you for the info, Tom! I have emailed the seller to check on these issues... I could possibly be fine with it missing the strap but if it's a put together piece I'll just move on.

Not matching according to seller so I called the deal off --- on to the next one, I have to admit I'd really like a saltier/used and matching example anyway. Thanks for the help guys... learnt a lot!
