    Locate the serial number and run it by the list for a date. NH

    Nice condition as well,with the right case,Hensoldt were one of the few makers of pol dienstglas,

    From the lack of makers code ,i would say these are pre war or early war,Hensoldt are very hard to date precisely as there are no records left unlike zeiss,politzei dienstglas were issued to the normal state police as well as the SS politzei division and the eintsatzkommando

    Neat as hell!!! Where did you find them?
    I don't think I've ever heard of polizei marked binoculars. Now I have something else to look for.

    These I found about three years ago in an antique shop in London,Politzei binos are scarce and not normally encountered,hensoldt were one of the only makers vilaba Roma are another maker

    Very nice looking. A great find. In an antique shop, huh? I don't guess you were expecting what you found in there. A date would be nice, but how would one find it with so few records in existence, if any?
