Cool A guide to the German Footwear of WW2:(1) 1945-dated M37 Low Boot

    Hi all,
looks like WW2 German footwear is still an obscure matter to many collectors, therefore I’ve decided to post threads focusing on the many styles of Boots worn by the German Armed Forces during WW2.I’ll post highly detailed pictures of the classical boots, high and low,as seen worn by every German soldier in WW2 and even of less known,”ersatz” styles.
All these pairs come from my personal collection and are 1000% genuine WW2 German footwear.I hope these threads will be helpful and will make for an interesting reading and a good reverence tool.
First pair is a 1945-dated pair of M37 low boots (M37 Schnuhrschuhe),found many years ago near Bologna. It still retains its natural leather color and is in great shape. This first style of lowboot has a combination of hooks and grommets but lacks the inner loop of black-red-black or black-white-black HBT fabric that helped the soldier putting on these boots and that was discontinued shortly after 1941.
    Enjoy
    Manny

Take a good look at the pictures and spot the many peculiarities...if it ain't 101% like these boots then it's not German!
