Article about: Well, went to the Winston Salem (nc) gunshow today and came back with a couple of goodies the first one is a 1941 marked y strap, and a k98 bayonet. Paid 80 for the y strap and 125 for the b

    Hello Gentlemen,
    As the visible stitchings around the rivets (as seen on the photo) did not appear before the end of 1943, there may be a problem with the 1941 dated leather O-ring protection....the person who fitted the backstrap to the Y-straps did not have a lot of knowledge about WWII german fieldgear....funny...
