    Probably part of a vehicle or gun mount etc, I can't help further I'm afraid. The markings 'Los and Fest' mean 'loose and fixed/set', roughly.

    It is made by Rheinmetall.

    Thank you KradSpam! I will look in that direction. In the photographs of German guns and self-propelled guns.

    It has an FL number...Which tells me it's Luftwaffe-related...

    Unfortunately the above isn't really German...it's gibberish lost in translation...I'll keep looking as I'm very curious as well!

    Yes, it is all gibberish. In the original document "Fl 352" is not mentioned.
