    This I do know, this is a WW1 German "Egg" grenade. It has the transportation screw and not a fuse

    Yes indeed. They are common and worth perhaps £15-20 at most without fuse. Rusty War Relics always has some for sale Grenades | Rusty War Relics - Militaria Shop
