Hi Chris, I agree, this one is a repro.
Note the overall poor stitching and the lack of reinforcement stitching to the corners near the two lower D rings.
Cheers, Ade.

Please have a look at this thread where I show my early original and JP also shows a nice later tropical example.

Thank you. I feared this would be the answer. I have had so much bad luck lately buying fake items...
What would I have to pay for an original A-Frame and A-Frame tropical? Condition can be used, I dont need them like new from the factory.
This one is said to be original with replaced straps:
A-Rahmen Tragegestell Tropen mit Hersteller WK II bei eBay.de: 1918-1945 (endet 24.01.10 19:50:21 MEZ)
What about this one? Contrary to my frame it does have the stitching near the lower D-Rings, but the stitching again looks quite poor:
A-Rahmen Sturmgepäck Wehrmacht bei eBay.de: 1918-1945 (endet 23.01.10 17:00:16 MEZ)
Thanks also for the mentioned link to the two examples of normal and tropical A-frames, but I need to find better pictures of all details, so I do not spend a lot of money on fakes again.

Ya!This one is repro for sure. The original is around $350-400.
@screensize
This one is a czech repro : you can see it from the cross straps.
The 1st one shown is probably one from atthefront... one of the "nicest" repro's I've seen... (If you're a re-enactor)
The last ones on the ebay auctions are all fake....
It is pretty hard to find a nice original and expect to pay 500€ + for them...

Hi Tom
Thanks for your professional inspection.I got this A frame(the first one) with the bag for about US$70,Do you think they worth that much? How much are they now?thanks again.
Hi Kevin
That would be correct, about 70 $ is the worth of the atthefront repro's....
