Hitler Youth Whistle with Lanyard - Suspect

Hello all. Wondering if this looks alright to everyone. The lanyard is unlike one I've ever seen and it looks really clean. The one's I've seen have always been green. I think I've even seen black. Has anyone seen this style before or know of any reproductions that have been made? Thanks as always!

It could be a period home made set up. Is that a membership badge attached? Can you show a close up of it please

It certainly looks like a HJ member's pin as Nick has just said. One hopes that it isn't another one of those examples where bits (quite often reproduction pieces) are put together to try and "spice up" an item, be it genuine...or not...
