    Hello,
    If i remember well i didn't see this makers mark before. IMO This spade is not german at all. It doesn't meet any period features (WWI & WWII). I have seen some polish tools with quite similar makers mark, but this is only a guess, i'm not certain.

    Hi,i would like to know myself as i have the same marking on my E'TOOL, it looks like a stylised horse's head to me,matt.
