    NunoGTI, I asked to see the goggles as I have just aquirred a "Bundeswehr" set, rumoured to be of wartime origin, they certainly look similiar, except for darker lens and they came packaged in a plastic wallet dated 1963 ! Here they are on a Bundeswehr Model 1962 steel helmet.
