K 98 single pouch

I am looking for info about the single 98 pouch some say postwar done some say wartime any idea, mabey used for secondline troops guard etc?

No markings on it the leatherwork and stiches looks al ww2.

These unmarked singles are postwar-produced for the West German Police...They continued to make Y-Straps as well, by the way...

More people say that but other say they cut them in 3 pieces for volkssturm or postwar yugoslav army if it is the right or left pouch than there are no markings mostly only the middle pouch have one , but as i say i don,t know about this so possible postwar.

I think Glenn nailed it these have been around for years as Guard pouches, Sentry, all kinds of things in reality made for W german police as pictures out of 60's show. I have never seen a period picture of a German with one pouch but never say never. thanks timothy

I know what you mean thats wy i keep tem you never knoiw because the materials used also match with te 3 pouches variant.
