    I would like some help and info about these two pouches mainly about pouch #1 if anyone can read to stamping and know anything about it and post it would be great! I would like to know a little about pouch #2 as well. I believe they are both Original.

    Both are original.

    The first has RB number 0/0390/0087.

    "0390" will be the (unknown at present) code for the town they were made in.

    Hello,
    yes they're both original M1911 pouches made between 1943 and 1943.
    First one is the usual simplified riveted type with RBNr marking....
    Second one is more interesting IMO....it is also a simplified type pouch but has both sewings in front and rivets on the side of the closure flaps....plus a special treatment of leather which is not pebbled like on the first pouch...it's more hatched than pebbled if you know what i mean...the same treatment of leather can be found on the sides of M35 and M37 mapcases...
