Nice Zeiss Kriegsmarine optics! Abit unusual to see a Brown case-usually they are black. Nice to see the original shoulder strap as well-these usually break early. Are the optics clear and dust/fungus free? William

1910 manufacture? Again, interesting! What are the markings on the left hand of the binoculars? Are they marks "Dienstglas"? William

Didier, The Blc 3 letter code marking denotes a WWII useage. Starting in the 1930's when they were secretly rearming, the Germans used a number code and then switched to the 3 letter codes in 1941. As for the serial number dating -my source gives "60633" as being made in year 1943. You've got a nice pair of Zeiss wartime 10x50's. I have no problems with the tan case or it's Kreigsmarine markings -I would imagine that it is original to the glasses. Not worth enough to buy a new car with, but certainly in the 100-200 dollars range. William
