Kriegsmarine pocket watch
Not sure if this piece should be put in this section as field gear but it looked like the best fit so to speak. This piece turned up a while back and was purchased in a local jewellery shop by a fellow collector. He paid a kings ransom for it, and I eventually got it from him a year or so later. Its a really smart piece of kit, works perfectly and I am sure there are people on the forum who will know exactly when why where etc concerning this item. It was made by the International Watch Co, Schaffhausen, which i believe might actually be in Switzerland. Anyway its just a fantastic piece of workmanship and sits nicely into my collection.
Any info from those in the know much appreciated.
All the best,

A nice looking time piece for sure !
The engraving on the back, eagle, serial number, but was does the 'zweite klass' stamp refer to?
