Hi, and welcome to the forum!
This will more than likley be a one off, unique, hand made item. I would almost classify it as "trench art". Most liekly made for an Officer or senior NCO.
Olmütz is in Moravia, Czechoslovakia.
Cheers, Ade.

Beautifully hand-tooled leather documents holder! The work is Extremely well done! I wouldn't mind having this for my own collection! Excellent find!

Good point, i Never considered " trench art ". I figured it was custom made for a nco by a parent or loved one. Thanks for the info . Cheers
Great looking Craftsmanship!! I would be Proud to have it in my collection.

Thank you all for the comments. Its nice to have others with more expertise appreciate an item as much as i do. !
Excellent looking item, the work of a true craftsman/artist! I have a wallet my uncle picked up of a german soldier in North Africa with the same leather stitching. Plain leather no relief work! I love this. Congratulations!
