    DTVPKING Looks like you are right the firing pin has been removed on this one I never looked have had it since 92 or so Hadn't planed on firing a old war relic like this one anyway. I have no clue what happened to it I would ask who I got it from the Vet ww2 but he has long passed. He had this and a police SHako but it was stored in a basement and hurt the condition of it . Thanks for your observance. timothy
