    Interesting; looks like a weird AC42 to me which would indicate manufacture by Walther; however the waffenamt code 359 is Sauer.

    Better pics are needed.

    Sorry, but the WaA 359 was Never used by any one except Walther.
    Not sure, but if I remember correktly, Sauer was 280?

    Hi!
    The production mark is AC 43.
    That vry odd that the mark is not in aline, but in two lines.
    And the horizontal part of letter "A" cannot be seen.
    No polishing or other physical mark can be seen either.

    Friend has a 1937 S/147 98k with waffenamts 359 and 214. Looks like both of them used the code

    I think that you'll find that Walther made several different K98k parts for rifle production, but no complete rifles. They did make G/K 43 rifles.
    Thus it is possible to find Walther parts on several different rifle makers gunz.
