LP42 Flare Pistol

Article about: Very nice, im trying to get myself one for a while now. My friend has a LOT of unfired yugo 26,5mm flares.

    Here is my new addition - LP42 - worn out finish but still looks good to me.

    Anybody got some spent shells ? :-)))

    and strap for the holster and the ammo pouch in leather, and ersatz leather and webbing and and and and ..... hahaha

    This hobby never ends

    btw, nice LP42, these were not always carried in holster but also loose with a catching strap (is that the correct word?)

    Thanks for crushing my dreams :-)

    I have seen the lanyard or carrying strap.

    I will probably use breadbag strap for that frontline look.

    Hi Meyle77,
    I have the same flare pistol which came in the holster with lanyard. I believe the holster and lanyard to be original although I have not seen any others to compare them with. Hope the pictures are clear enough for you to see.

    Quick question - was the lp42 supplied to german allies as well ? I am pretty sure it was.
    Also, what other countries used it post-war ? I know of israel and czechoslovakia.
