Luft Pilot Boots

Another pick up today! A really nice set of Luftwaffe Pilot Boots. My dealer had these as a kid and used to wear them!

Only flaw is the back of one pair the suede leather is ripped. Otherwise they are minty.

One odd thing is that the zippers are different. One is a Ri Ri DRP and the other is a Zipp.

Can anyone help with the R.B Nr on the tag and the stamps on the straps?

Now to get the jacket (soon maybe ), pants and gloves! Have the flight helmet already!

Very cool Michael!
Like aircraft mechanics the pilot boots had " rubber hobnails" . Sort of impractical to have real nails on metal skinning. Same goes for the Panzers l guess? One slip and you're A over T !!
