luftwaffe blanket

Article about: Picked up this Luftwaffe blanket today, apparently they are hard to come by from what I'm told? any comments on that? Anyone know what the "R49" in red thread in for? regards Mike

    Hello,
    It is a nice blanket as i like them, rather grey than white...
    I dont know about the R74 stitching sorry...but i've seen something similar once in a museum for referencing items...
