Luftwaffe Wehrmacht camouflage gas mask ?

Hi,

I have the opportunity to own this gas mask, am i right in thinking Wehrmacht, Luftwaffe WW2 era and possibly camouflage ?, not sure if the carrying case is original to the mask though ?

hi Steve thanks for your reply, by cammo I mean the tan finish on the lens frames is this for issue in particular theaters such as desert and are they indeed Wehrmacht ww2 ?

The tan is "ordinance tan" the standard colour used for vehicles and equipment

yes it's WW2 model 30 mask with a FE 42 filter and can be used by any unit

As Rene said its ordinance tan paint. Mid to end war it was used on item such as the gas mask, binoculars etc. it doesn't directly relate to DAK use at all though, they were using up stocks of it. Many sellers prey on the DAK idea though to get more money for the item.

In saying that I love ordinance tan stuff,would kill for a set of binoculars at the right price
