the stamps on the box . ask about the 41 is the year of product for this box?

1941 is not the production date, but is the pattern date of the box. Patronenkasten 41

The paint is very nice! It would indicate a post 1943 production date.

Does that color mean it was used by Afrika Korps?

Hi Adi, after 1943 all German ordnance items were painted a dark tan yellow. (Dunklegelb in German)

This is not a DAK issue tin just because of the colour.

I would expect to find a DAK tin to be overpainted yellow over the factory finished feldgrau paint. These tins did not come from the factory painted yellow for tropical use.

Very Nice Mg Box whit Dunklegelb 43!! The dak panit is different....
