    Here is my M31 Mess Kit. Simply my favorite one I have yet to see.
    It is a "PSTZ 39" Matches bottom half as well. Has some trench art work on it from the soldier "Beck" along with what I believe to be his serial number there are two exact same numbers written on the handle and on the top half of the mess kit lid. And a few German & French town names on it.

    And add another M31 mess kit'photo what I found on ebay.
    Unfortunately,I don't win the bid.

    Just picked up this one nicely named on the body and lid for HERBERT SCHWARZ. It is things like this that add that personal touch to an item ..... I wonder where Herbert fought and did he survive??

    My newest mess kit! EWBN39 marked with initials on the bottom and top halves. Makes #3 working on my 4th now!

    Seeing as how the thread for messkits is doing well-what about an idea of expanding it to include Messkit Utensils? There are many many different makers and variations of utensils- such an inclusion could be quite helpful!
