I have another item that I would like an expert opinion on.
Correct colour for the year, late war examples by the same maker are painted in oliv grun rather than feldgrau. I can’t find the name of the maker, but this is also original.
Nice original messkit but, IMO, so far to be near mint. Good overall condition but not mint.
Indeed, a nice, used but not abused mess kit....
I agree, not mint, but its looking good.... if you are searching a mint example, there are plenty out there, the chance of finding a mint one is biggest in the 1944 range ....
