MG34/42 ammo can
So I am looking into buying this possibly what is every ones opinion? The lid says 1944 date and the can bottom has a 41, what is the exact date then? 1944 or 1941? And I think that is paint and not rust, am I correct? Battlefield found in "Kurland" as the buyer says. It is located in Latvia and is $68 USD total shipped. is this a good price? Thanks!
Hello, 1941 is the model of the box and 44 the year it was made by the factory bdk.
The cover is twisted in two places.
The base of the handle is not in good condition.
I think you must wait foe a better one.

Considering the first three photos only, buying this ammo can would be a waste of money...ammo cans are not rare and many on the market can be found in better condition...
