MG42 Ammo Box
Can anyone tell me the difference between the MG3 ammo box used by the current German Army, and the wartime MG34/42 boxes? I have one (no camera right now) but I'm not sure what it is. It is marked bzl42 so I'm hoping it's legit. I'll add pics when I get a moment.

With a three letter code / date marking it should be fine. Pics will confirm.

Finally managed to get pics of the box, it's pretty tidy and still has all the leather bits on the handles. Any ideas of a value in this condition appreciated as it will be going up for sale shortly
