    The infamous 007 rb number..... i would be very very carefull if i were you......

    In short, i don’t trust them....... not saying they are fake, but this rb nr is used on a lot of fake stuff......

    We would need more and better pictures of backside

    Mmm interesting it was brought by a friend of imcs militaria..then regimentals had it off him an was on there for awhile..i will get better pictures ..think its 4 numbers on the back but ones very light

    Does the leather still smell like leather?

    Cant really smell leather the whole pouch smells like metal

    Apart from the fact that the RB nr is suspicious i also note other strange things :

    Is is an early configuration pouch, with the D-ring at an angle of 45 degrees, while normally on later MP40 pouches they are in an angle of 90 degrees.
    Furthermore the stamp doesn’t look very straight.....

    All in all i don’t like it very much.... just my humble opinion....

    I was told it was an original pouch..with replacement hoops on the back

    I would be suspicious of the R.B.Nr mark which shows the numerals at varying levels suggesting each number stamped individually. In a factory operation during wartime they would have used a block stamp so in one strike the entire code is marked on the leather. There was no time to fiddle around with number by number marking, not to mention the chance of errors.
