Nazi marked French TC38 Gas Mask

I was wondering if I could get some opinions on this gas mask? I would like to know if you guys think the stamps are original.

I believe that some of these were re-issued to Luftschutz, but the illegible stamp doesn't "feel right" to me...so I can't say for sure...It isn't something I would buy, personally...these are very hard to sell/resell...
