Need Help to Identify This INFANTRY SHOVEL,markings half moon...does not look Turkish.

I found this wierd looking marking on this shovel.Looks like a half moon with something inside.No other markings seen on the shovel.Ok,wood looks worn.I just have no idea of its identity.Hope somebody can help me identify this infantry shovel.

It looks like a partially stamped circle with B stamped inside of it.

Turkish had a different half moon,and a star out of the moon...so I think it does not match...Thanks for your thoughts.
