I'm trying to find out if this map case is German or Bulgarian. It bears name (ww2 and before style writings) of Bg low rang officer. At that time a lot of German or German style equipment was used by BG army. And a lot of 1945 wartime trophys from German army can be found allwso in army use after the war.
There are no markings or stemps. So what is the experts opinion?

Looks similar to my German map case on the outside but different on the inside. Mine has no marks or date.
