Could be british hard to tell of the photo, there should be some stamp markings in the recess and on the upper rim above the base.

Looks like an 30mm Aden round

This is one of my 30mm Aden shells is your the same.

I have just had a quick look and the Aden shell is a copy of the Mauser MG 213 shell.
