Yeah the comparison shot is great Rene, it is hard to see until you get them all together like that. I personally have always like the swiss style ones as well. Just for reference, SOME swiss ones have that raindrop pattern like this:

Cheers for the pics, the buttons look to be anodized aluminium? + zelt buttons normally have three holes, but I stand to be corrected.

For me, bakelite is late in the war, 1944-1945.
