Nskk cap

I have a question about color tap. Ex. on my picture is red background on the tap. I also found caps with orange and green background.
What is mean?

Different colours denote different areas:
Your one is..........Motorgruppes Headquarters Staff. Silver woven 'NSKK' on carmine woven triang There are others, such as:
Motorgruppes Thüringen & Ostsee. Silver woven 'NSKK' on apple green woven triangle.

On a yellow background it would be Motor-Gruppe Franken

Dark Green, or Emerald green would be Motor-gruppe sachsen, Nordmark & Leipzig

There are lots of different colours, reference books are a must
