Odd Zeltbahn?

This is another item from the collection of 1st Lt. Wm. Frank Lambeth, A company, 81st Chemical Mortar Battalion. There were two zeltbahns in the collection. One is the standard zelt. This other one has the grommets but does not have buttons or button holes on the sides or anywhere else. Is this an odd variation or did he capture this before it was finished? There are no marks on it that I can find and it is the normal size.

I had an SS one exactly the same. I might have been issued or not. No button ,No buttonholes.

Tipical end war Issue, who bother to make buttonholes ect.
These are not that rare and still to find.

rare ones are the brown version, rotated button holes ect
