Hello,
This P.08 holster is nice but it needs a serious cleaning
The maker is Henseler & Co and the year of production is 1939..the WaA 455 is also visible
too bad for the magazine but it still works at least
in the grey oval is the magazine's maker, what the last letter please ? (b ?)
Thanks

The lettering is fxo, a mauser subcontractor for mags. I believe they also supplied mags to other makers. Mauser stopped numbering the bottom of the mags in late 1941 so if there is no number on the bottom of the mag it was produced after that. I am not sure of the date when they switched to plastic bottom mags.

The mag reads 'fxo' last letter is an 'o' manufactured by Haenel.
It may also have a WaA37 as well. They made mags after Mauser stopped making them.

Doesn't look too bad. Did it come with the take down tool in the top of the holster? Sometimes the collectors guild has P.08 magazines.

I know SARCO sells replacement WOODEN Magazine bottoms, you might contact them to see if they carry the Plastic ones also.
Holy cow, that cleaned up a treat! What did you use? I use Connolly Hide Care on my holsters.
