    looks ok but the condition is not the best - good for a display
    Looking for following WWII German items:
    - anything dealing with Allenstein (Olsztyn) and Wehrkreis I in East Prussia,
    - entrenching tool carrier (straight and folding),
    - forestry and hunting items,

    Based on Waffenamt you mention it was made by maker Hans Romer in location of Neu Ulm, Donau in 1943-1944

    Original holster for p38 too bad about condition of the mag holder but hey these things weren't made yesterday. timothy

    I would add that this is considered a soft shell holster.

    I agree! But at least the rest of it is in decent shape, will make a good shelf piece none the less.
