Post War Mask and Straps?

Recently saw this for sale, and, something about both the straps and the mask don't look right to me. I'm not sure if it's just perspective or what, but the mask has an odd shape and the straps look too new. What are your opinions? Thanks.




I'm also not sure on the paint on the canister- it looks too glossy almost?

I'm definitely leaning to post war, somethings not right about the set.
