    Very early east German??? I have a raindrop cam cover for my east German ET, looks very similar to this, just not in leather

    helmetone...Bundeswehr e-tool carrier from 1960 on, still used up to the early 1990's ! it would of been BW drab olive in colour, you can still see this on the rear of the carrier, looks like someone has attempted to blacken.....see here on this 1960's Panzergrenadiers left hip....
