    Considering the name and the coat of arms engraved on this messkit, this soldier might have been Hungarian...

    Have managed to read some writings on the mess kit, indeed its very interesting.

    In the red circle is written "Fallen to Russian captivity on 29.5.1945."

    POW Mess kit

    It must be a member of 1st Hungarian Cavalry Division or 1st Hungarian Panzer Division who fought untill the end of the war with german units.
