    Hi Tom, fantastic!

    What year is it?

Do you know any of it's history?

    Cheers, Ade.

    Hi Guys

Thanks for all the great comments !!

Indeed, these are made to ride, and I have just made my first 150 km’s on it.. the weather here in Holland is perfect.. a little sun, not too hot , perfect weather …

These machines are indeed very expensive and not easy to find

The story on how I bought it , makes me a little sad, but hey … that’s life:

I bought it as a tribute and with the legacy of my parents…. My father passed away in 2009, and my mother in 2011.

Last year we finally sold the house, and with the legacy I have bought this machine.

My parents have always suported me in my hobby, and I am very thankfull for the childhood they gave me….

Now, every time I ride this beast, i will remember them, but with a smile on my face….

So that’s the story , and I can only say, Thanks mam and dad !!

    So….Enough sobbing ☺

The Zündapp is from 1942, and was left in Belgium…. A collector there picked it up and it was fully restored…. There was a bullet hole in the tank (still visible) but it was repaired… it gives the machine character.

Hope to find out more about the history

Will make some more detailed pic’s and share them here !!

    Tom

    MORE PICS, please!

I'd love to see it out in the country, with your beautiful countryside in the backround.

Lifelong rider here, wouldn't mind having a vintage bike again (a '66 round barrel 441 Victor) , but prices are so high... but this? Wow!!! If you could link a video of you doing a walkaround with it running, those valves clicking, that would be amazing.

    Ride safe.
