Default Question - SS lighter, is it real or fake?

    Hello,

I bought this lighter last week in a garage sale, and i don't know if it's real or fake.
Looking at the crest mark, i would say it's 1933-1934 SS-LAH, but i'm not sure.
Also, i'm wondering what the black material, used on the outside, is.
Maybe anyone here knows anything about it?
On one of the photo's, i wrote the text thats on the lighter. (All text is on the sides of the metal thing shrouding the fuse)

    Thx for the comment guys
i really have no experience with any WW2 things, so i thought this would be the best forum to ask it.
Now i can be sure it's fake.
    thx again

But, hey...snip off that black plastic looking sleeve on it, and you probably would have a fairly decent cigarette lighter, anyway!
