Original German WWII Tornister "Affe" Backpack with Very Faint Marking | eBay
Millatria 1944 is an online ww2 surplus website, and it has some pretty cheap deals on ebay and their own site, and I was wondering if what is under "Original" is all real?

It looks like its a good original German pack. I would wait for others to weigh in their opinions, but I have a good feeling about it.

Original m39 looks like it might be missing parts to attach to y straps though. Or it might have had straps I cant tell date and Manf or RBN no would be in the leather at the top of pack. Hopefully field gear experts will weigh in. Drew at 1944 militaria good honest dealer to deal with he has original and repo items for reanactors. I have had good results with them. timothy

    Hi

It's original allright, but pretty beaten up... buckles are defect, all 4 hooks hooks to attach Tornister to Y-straps are removed (probably to make or repair an A-frame, but thats a guess )

IMHO worthless (not for my collection anyway)

    Hello,
As already mentioned, it is an original M39 Tornister in bad condition....IMO not desirable...even if cheap....Tornister are cheap enough to get better examples if you can....
    Thanks
