It is definitely an SKS stock. The Asian hardwood is a dead give away. Some Chinese Arsenal 26 rifles are seen with a cutout to ease access of the take down lever.

    Hi again John,
In hindsight I think I may be incorrect. The more I look the more I doubt my call.
I wonder if it is an SKS stock that has been modified for a bolt action. The foregrip has also been planed down.
Has a Mosin look about it (the front grip).
I think you are closer than me with this one.
    Apologies

No worries Dave, it's all good.

Yep SKS. look at the butt plate and stock lug bolt. Someone has refinnished it. It is what we call in the SKS world as Chinese piss elm. (Got to be careful my wife is Chinese.) When refinishing them the wood feathers badly. The cut out "where the bolt handle is" is for the take down lever. it is not worth a whole lot unless you have a shooter SKS you need a stock for. I have 1 from Russia, 1 from China and 1 yugo on my wall of my office.
    hope this helps.

It certainly appears to be a Beijing produced SKS stock.

I stand corrected , thought it was a bolt action but it is indeed a SKS . Good eye .
