Rifle stock

Article about: by CBH It's not SKS , as it has a spot for the bolt handle . So it a bolt action stock of some kind . Chris It is definitely an SKS stock. The Asian hardwood is a dead give away. Some Chines

    Looks like an SKS.

    It's certainly not an SKS stock.I feel it's off a Gewher from the bolt grooves and lack of sling attachments on the butt compared to a K98 stock.

    Still looks like an SKS stock that someone added a bolt groove to for whatever reason.

    Gday John,
    Notice the taper on the foregrip of the stock in this thread.The SKS stock has a lot more wood on it and no taper.

    Hi again John,
    In hindsight I think I may be incorrect.The more I look the more I doubt my call.
    I wonder if it is an SKS stock that has been modified for a bolt action.The foregrip has also been planed down.
    Has a Mosin look about it (the front grip).
    I think you are closer than me with this one.

    Relicz is right, it is a Norinco SKS stock. I have seen a few that have that space trimmed for the receiver pin. I think it for the commercial model, not sure. $40 sounds about right for it.
